Features

Stop hoarding tabs. Start finding things.

Reperio is a search engine for your own corner of the web — with just enough organization to make it trustworthy.

One search, four sources

Open tabs, your bookmarks, Reperio's enriched library, and browsing history — ranked together in a single list, duplicates merged.

Keyboard-first

Open a tab, type, press Enter. Arrow keys move the selection; modifiers open in the background. The mouse is always optional.

Instant by design

Results render in under 150 ms and the new tab paints in under 200 ms — even with 10,000 bookmarks. Speed is the whole point.

Save without friction

One click in the popup or right-click → “Add to Reperio” anywhere. Title, description, and favicon are filled in for you.

Organization that scales

Free-form tags, a single category, and a nested folder tree. Slice the same bookmark any way you'll think of it later.

Private by default

Everything lives on your device. No account, no telemetry, no cloud — sync only ever happens if you opt in.

How it works

Save. Organize. Find. Repeat.

The whole loop takes seconds — and after a week it's muscle memory.

  1. Save anything

Click the toolbar icon or right-click → “Add to Reperio”. Metadata is captured automatically; add tags or a folder inline if you like.

  2. Organize your way

Tags for cross-cutting themes, one category for the big picture, nested folders for structure. Or don't — search works regardless.

  3. Find it from any new tab

Open a tab and type. Ranked results from all four sources appear instantly — press Enter and you're there.

The entire core loop, mouse-free: ⌘T type

Privacy isn’t a setting. It’s the architecture.

Your bookmarks and history are some of the most sensitive data you have. Reperio is built so they can’t leak: there is simply no server involved.

  • Local-first, alwaysBookmarks, tags, and history searches stay in your browser's local database. Nothing is transmitted anywhere.
  • Native bookmarks are read-onlyReperio reads your browser bookmarks to search them — it never creates, edits, or deletes them.
  • Minimal permissionsNo access to every website, no persistent content scripts. Page metadata is read only when you save, on the tab you're saving.
  • Your data, your exitExport everything to JSON or HTML at any time, or wipe it all with one click. Export is free, forever.

FAQ

Fair questions, straight answers.

Never. Reperio reads your native bookmarks so it can search them, but it has no ability to create, modify, or delete them. Your bookmark tree stays byte-for-byte untouched.
